"I can't believe you did that, Rhae! I thought I knew you!" Yell Raphael to Rhae. "I'm sorry. I don't know what to say. I didn't mean to hurt you." Patricia saw it all that from behind. She smiles, she finally get Rhae hurt. Know Raphael know who Rhae really is, and soon everybody in Newcrest will hate Rhae, a girl who play man's heart, Patricia thinking. Patricia Wharton always got what she wants. Life is easy for her, until the day her mother got home from jogged, tell her that she should apologize to Miss Radley and claimed that her homework wasn't her, but Rhae. She was humiliated in front of school. But then not long, Rhae's mother was passed away. "Karma." thought Rhae. It was Saturday, Reyna brought Patricia to Newcrest, left her playing in jungle gym, while Reyna was gossiping around with other housewives about Ruby Taylor. Rhae was there as well, played around field with After School Club. "Are you Rhae?" Reyna saw Rhae standing on the back of Patricia's Jungle Gym. "Yes." "Don't get close to my child! It's her's jungle gym for today. Play another place if you want." Reyna warned her. Reyna left. Patricia playing alone, and she suddenly eager to go to the bathroom. But there was no public bathroom in Newcrest then. "Poor Newcrest! They didn't even have a public bathroom." whisper Patricia. She tried to hold it in, when Rhae came nearby and saw something on her dress. "Pat! There is something on your dress. It's a spider." Patricia was surprised, lost her grip and fell. She just couldn't hold it anymore and the accident happen. Other kids were laughing at her. Smelled, Embarrassed, and Public Humiliated. Patrica went home to Windenburg and never dares stepped to Newcrest anymore. Everything happened bad when Rhae around me, Patricia thought. On High School, Patricia tried to hurt Rhae several times, but Raphael always stopped her clique to do anything to Rhae. Lucky Rhae, she dated childhood friend turned Windenburg High School's baseball star made everyone adore Raphael and made Rhae untouchable. She was jogged around her house when she saw Phillip Kerr. "Mr. Kerr." She yelled to her neighbor. "Hi. How are you, Patricia?" Phillip greeted. "My mother wanted me to remind you about Wharton Art Party at Community Library today. We got new art collections, ready to be auctioned these Sunday." "Tonight? I'm sorry, I'm on call tonight at the hospital." "So sorry to hear that. You would miss everything. It's Wharton Art Annual Party." "Got a job to do! Help people." Phillip smiled. "West Family Hospital, right? By a chance, do you know Rhae Taylor? She was my classmate, and I heard she now working as medical assistant." "She is my assistant, actually. Nice girl, nice personality. Quick learner and smart kid." Phillip told Patricia with a big smile, made her annoyed. "Really? What a small world. So she changed." "Changed?" ask Phillip. "Rhae Taylor that I know was manipulated girl, who want to do everything to get ahead. When I was grade school, she claim that my homework was her, even made her mother threatened my mother. To avoid all drama, I just made another essay to replace it." "Maybe it's all misunderstanding." Phillip keep it positive. "Well, good for her if she is a better person now. Rhae Taylor is not a common name anyway." tease Patricia. "Rhae that I know, would never do such things. She is honest. She never go home if her assignment was not finished. She even help me on my medical journal in her free time." Praised Phillip. "By any chance, do you like her, Mr. Kerr?" asked Patricia. "The truth. Yeah, I want to asked her to date me if I could get her transferred to another attending. It's weird if people know you date your own assistant. Pat, do you know if she is single?" "Well. I never heard her date anyone." Lied Patricia. "Don't wait until later. I advice you should asked her now. Be Quick." "Now? Hmm.. You're probably right. Maybe on saturday, we both are not working or on call duty either." "Yeah, bring her to Newcrest Park. I heard it was beautiful at night, got romantic garden there. Plus, her father build it, awesome right?" "Good idea, Pat. Thanks." Said Phillip to his "friendly" neighbor. "Maybe don't tell her it's a date. She might refuse, I mean, she was not a dating girl kind of person back in high school. Well, just to be safe." warn Patricia.
"You're right. It will be awkward if your boss asked you to date, right?"
