The time is finally here. Blaire went into labor, while she was working. She was sent home to have a baby. Since Jessica at work, Maverick and Blaire decided to go to hospital. Not like other expecting couple, they walk separately. You can see Maverick's face, he is happy that the end is here, he finally can show to everyone that the child is not his.
"I want to name her, Penelope." Blaire speaked. "Hello, Penelope." Maverick greet Penelope. He knows it's too early to tell. One thing he knows for sure, baby is cute. And he wants one. The first person that greet Penelope at home is none other than Alice. One sight she saw Penelope, she knows whether she is Maverick's or not. "I'm 100% sure, Penelope is not Taylor." Alice tells Maverick right away. "How do you know? It's too early to tell." said Maverick. "Her color skin tone is not match with you or Blaire." "It was because her blood type is not matched with Blaire, it made her skin tone a little bit yellow." Maverick explains. "Are you sure? What is her blood type?" Alice doubts. "She is O negative, while Blaire is A type." "What's yours?" "I'm also O. Hmm... she could be mine." "We surely need Jessica's help, to do DNA Test." Alice suggests. "But I'm still pretty sure she is not Taylor. No Taylor signature's blue eyes and blonde hair, like Muse, you, Scarlet and even the Jordan twins have it." The next day, before work, Jessica sneak into Penelope's room to took her DNA, while Blaire had breakfast in dining room. "I'm sorry! You are innocent baby, but Taylor Family need these test. Are you officially Taylor or not." And Jessica took a DNA Sample from Penelope. She also took a silver hair sample, she found on Blaire's bed. She only needs Maverick for comparison. But it might be fate or destiny, Sera came to hospital for medical treatment. "Sera! It's a surprise. Are you sick?" Jessica asks Sera. "A little bit dizzy. Why are you so surprised?" "Hmm.. Because I need Taylor DNA and somehow you are here." "My DNA? What for?" Sera asked. "Blaire just gave birth yesterday. It's a girl." Jessica announces. "Wow. So you want to see if she is in fact Maverick?" Sera asks. "Yes. I promised him back on Thanksgiving, remember? Alice and Muse also wanted me to." "Do you like my nephew?" Sera asked Jessica's true intention. "Whoaa.. Where is these coming from? "Well. If the baby girl is in fact not Maverick's, their marriage will be annulled. And you can have...." "Please stay still! Let me check your ears." Jessica fast changes the subject. And it works, Sera is completely silent for the rest of examination. "Done. Now it's time for me to check your sample. And also Penelope's." "I'm just saying." Sera continues the last conversation. "Muse, Alice, Karlee and me on your side, Jess." Sera winks to her doctor. And Jessica can't help but smile. Jessica directly into business. She examine Sera's sample first as she also patient in the hospital. Then examine baby Penelope, then compare it with Sera and Blaire. But the machine speak otherwise, it found the baby's DNA matched with other patient's record, took Jessica by surprise. "Aha!! Now I know who is Penelope's Dad really is." Jessica found her eureka. All she needs to do now are finish her shift, go home and tell everyone. She went home and visited Penelope's nursery. And there he was, Maverick bottle feed the baby. Jessica is confused should she tells him that Penelope is not him, or not. She sees how happy Maverick with the baby. Jessica was thinking before that tell Maverick the baby is not him would be an easy task, but it's turned to be not after see how he attached to the baby. Still on his uniform as Dance Team Captain, he visits Penelope directly after work. He feeds, snuggle and rock the baby to sleep. Maverick is truly happy.

Blaire's third trimester is challenging for her. As she become bigger, she is hungry all the time. Maverick and Blaire don't talk after Thanksgiving. Blaire sleeps in kid's room, while Maverick got his room back. Of course, he dances around to celebrate. Sleeping in tiny kid's bed is not good for pregnant woman. Blaire's back is killing her. And Jessica can't help but notice, as a doctor, she tries to help Blaire. "You should stop sleeping on kid's room. You sleep in my bed, tonight. Doctor's order! I will sleep in kid's room." Jessica says to Blaire. "Thank you. I really wish it's going to be over soon. So Maverick can see that these child is really is his." Blaire share her feelings. "We can stop calling "these child" if we know the gender. Do you want me?" Jessica asks if Blaire want to know the baby's gender. "Let's do that!" "Which one do you wish for? Boy or Girl?" Ask Jessica. "Boy will be good for Taylor's heir. But, I always want a girl. Shop together, bake together. But yeah, with boy, we could play game together, watch Rick and him play sport together." Blaire enthusiast. "Dating anyone, Jess?" "Everyone seems interesting to my romance life, but No." Jessica rubs Blaire's belly for a little more. And.. "It's a GIRL!" Jessica announces. "Are you sure?" Blaire asks Jessica. "Pretty sure. Congratulation." Jessica hugs Blaire. Weeks before, these two women don't talk to each other, and now they become fast friend over baby. Blaire still thinks Jessica is a threat for Maverick and her. "I know a perfect guy for you." Blaire invites her friend for lunch, Jake Moffett "Jessica, meet my friend, Jake. He is a scientist and music lover." Blaire introduces Jessica to her friend. "I know you guys are matched for each other." Blaire left Jessica and Jake, let them talk to each other. Jake Moffett is not Maverick, but Blaire is right, Jake is (almost) perfect for Jessica. He and Jessica connects as both love science, they talked for hours until late noon, until Maverick came home from work and saw them together. Maverick definitely looked not happy.
